Connect and train in three steps
Connect Google Drive
In your InsiteChat dashboard, click Connect Google Drive. Sign in with your Google account and grant read-only access when prompted.
Browse and select files
Navigate your Drive folders. Select individual files, multiple files, or entire folders to import. Bulk folder import lets you bring in hundreds of files at once.
Import and train
Click Import. InsiteChat extracts text from your files, chunks it into segments, and builds embeddings. Your chatbot is ready to answer questions as soon as the import completes.
InsiteChat only requests read-only access to your Google Drive. Your files are never modified, stored, or shared.

Keep your chatbot current
Your chatbot’s knowledge reflects your content at the time of the last import. When you update documents in Google Drive, re-import the source from your dashboard to sync the latest changes. You can re-sync individual files or entire folders.
